Lovers of independent film and video rejoice! Here you will find all the information you’ll need to navigate through ten days of high drama, tawdry romance, stirring documentaries, innovative shorts, and our always popular galas and receptions.

While our look has changed as we enter our 2nd decade, our Programming Committee ensures the Reelout audience can always look forward to an outstanding and diverse selection of film and video from around the world.

Some of our biggest changes worth noting are our primary exhibition and gala venues. The majority of our films will be screened at Ellis Auditorium (58 University Avenue), a venue that is fully wheelchair accessible, close to parking and directly on the public transit route. This year’s opening gala and Silent Auction will be held at the Renaissance Event Venue (285 Queen Street) and will include music by Toronto power pop band Parkside and DJ Haircut. Our Closing Gala will be hosted by our friends at The Artel (205 Sydenham St).
